Equity for Girls Foundation is a Non-Governmental Organization committed to promoting the holistic development and protection of adolescent girls, particularly those who are disadvantaged and vulnerable. The Foundation works to create an enabling environment where adolescent girls can realize their full potential socially, economically, culturally, and morally.
Guided by its vision of a society where adolescent girls enjoy secure education, health care, legal representation, and enlightened lives, the Foundation focuses on addressing the root causes and consequences of teenage pregnancy. We recognize that adolescent girls—especially teenage mothers—face significant barriers to education, health services, justice, and social inclusion.
Through advocacy, direct service delivery, and community engagement, the Foundation supports adolescent girls to remain in or return to school, access quality health care, understand and exercise their legal rights, and acquire life and community development skills. Our approach is centered on dignity, equity, empowerment, and long-term sustainability, ensuring that girls are not only protected but also equipped to succeed in life.
To position appropriate service delivery as a center of gravity at all times.
To demonstrate value for money and responsible use of resources at all times.
To always provide for the community in absolute need wherever possible.
To continuously network with value-adding organizations and individuals locally and globally.
